Although many Americans have trouble sleeping at some times, it is very important to consult closely with your physician when embarking on a prescription sleeping pill regimen, as the side effects and potential for complications can be serious.
Even over the counter medications should be taken with caution and probably not on a regular basis. Best to consult with your doctor even if you are on non-prescription sleeping meds.
